Sienna's Splash -- Swimmers Helping Swimmers

November 01, 2012

SwimSpray is a proud supporter of the Sienna Foundation, which just held "Sienna's Splash," a swim-a-thon to raise money and awareness for curing FOP.  The foundation was started by Sienna Otto's parents after their daughter was diagnosed with FOP on May 30th, 2012.  Sienna's mom (Rory) was our teammate at Princeton University. You can read about Sienna's Splash in SwimSwam News, Princeton University, and the Trenton Times

Hi Rosmeini – Thanks for your comment.

Yes, I totally agree. Allergies are very common and difficult to generalize.

Our goal with SwimSpray is to give people the opportunity to get the chlorine off of them after swimming. That way, if people prefer how their skin and hair feels without bleach on it all the time, they can have that option.

An allergy is nointhg but the abnormal reaction of our immune system when a harmless substance or allergen comes into its contact either by inhaling, swallowing or touching. At least one out of 3 humans has some type of allergy. Medical science is yet to figure out why a particular person is allergic to some thing and somebody else is not.
