We recently did a whole lot of laboratory experiments comparing the chlorine killing power of various shampoos, including several "anti-chlorine" or "chlorine-out" products. See How to Test Your "Anti-Chlorine" Shampoo. The results were surprising for two reasons: First, many so-called anti-chlorine shampoos were less effective than "normal" shampoos; Second, none of the products were any good at neutralizing chlorine.
Our marketing team has been trying to make these data easy to visualize. I thought I would share one image that I found particularly good. The image below shows how many bottles of a leading anti-chlorine shampoo would be needed to provide the chlorine killing power of one bottle of SwimSpray.
We've always said that we do NOT make shampoo or body wash. Rather, SwimSpray is a product that can be used alone or alongside your shampoo or body wash in order to add (the missing) chlorine killing power to your shampoo.
