Cosmetics Aficionado SwimSpray Review

June 01, 2015

I have mentioned it before, but in case you didn’t know I swim a few times per week. The one thing I don’t love about swimming is smelling like bleach even after I shower. I was excited to give SwimSpray a try, because I want to be able to hang out with friends afterward without them knowing I went swimming just by smelling me.

Full review of Swimspray, the all natural spray that neutralizes chlorine on your skin and hair

Swimspray is 100% natural. It uses vitamin C to neutralize any chlorine on your skin and hair. The ingredients are just water, and vitamin C (as Sodium Ascorbate and Ascorbic Acid). It has no fragrance, and is safe to use on kids. I tested this on my 11 and 13 year old as well, since they swim with me all the time.

It’s pretty simple to use. You rinse off your body and hair, spray yourself with about 20 to 30 sprays to skin and hair, and then soap up and shampoo as usual. I was actually skeptical that something with so few ingredients that you just spray on would work, but y’all it worked! I couldn’t smell a trace of chlorine on my skin and hair or my kids’ skin and hair. I am totally impressed! You don’t have to wait either, since it takes seconds to work. It is such a short step that you can easily incorporate into after swimming cleanup.

I have mentioned on my blog before, but I have sensitive skin. I used this on my face, and was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t irritate me at all. Since it neutralizes the chlorine, I also didn’t get that itch that you get from your skin drying from being in chlorine. I am super impressed with this, and when I run out I will for sure be buying some to keep in my pool bag.

You can purchase SwimSpray from their web site as well as Amazon.
